The last shots of the cherry blossoms in this rural corner of Japan. 🌸🥲 Birthday pancakes for the Pancake. 🐕🥞🎂 Before ❄️ and after 🌸. Took a quick video while the sakura trees were still in full bloom here in rural Japan. Though the blossoms may not be visible in this footage, at least the spring air still appears to be refreshing, especially compared to the snowy winter we just had. No matter the season, though, Pancake always appreciates the walks. 🐕 Those who have been watching my recent YouTube video will know our first springtime flower garden is well on its way in our countryside abode in Japan. 🌺Starting with a couple of rhododendron bushes and several lavender plants, they have already added a bit of colour to our winter-worn exterior of our house. And of course, company from Pan, and another surprise critter, jumping in to participate in the gardening spirit 🐕🐸 I’m on a mission to turn our yard into a lovely flower garden this spring, but first things first: gotta get all them weeds out. 🧑‍🌾 🌱 Pulled out some weeds, laid down new soil, and started a brand new flower garden. Spring is in the air 🥰🌸
